All Sound Recorder XP enables you to record sound and play it back through your sound card or any other source, such as a microphone, a VCR, a line-in jack, a telephone, a data CD, a DVD, or an audiocassette player.
You can grab any sound, including music, movie dialogue, and game sounds, from your computer or from the Internet. Captured sounds can be saved in WAV, MP3, WMA, or OGG formats using real-time conversion. The program offers direct support for RealPlayer, Winamp, Windows Media Player, PowerDVD, Flash, and QuickTime. All Sound Recorder XP also supports sound-data active-recording-mode technology; when you play sound from the Internet, it often pauses, but All Sound Recorder XP will pause recording until play continues.
Version 2.18 fixes the bug of the schedule not working, fixes WMA settings, improves sound-data active recording mode, has full support for 8- or 16- bit, mono and stereo, and frequency: 1-48000hz.
